Hi!
I know, it’s been a long time since my last post. I’ve been quite busy with my work and other activities but I’m back people! Time to start posting some new stuff here.
It’s been 2 years since the last time I went for a family vacation. So two weeks ago I’ve decided to spent a week in Singapore with my family. I was going to write a full complete day by day experience entry about this trip, but then I got lazy lol. So let me just sum up my trip into “3 Things I did in Singapore”. Here we go!
1. MUSEUM
Singapore Art Museum
Singapore Art Museum (SAM) probably one the most popular museum among the youths. SAM regularly collaborate with several international museums to cover both the local and international art practices.
For this year, the exhibition’s theme draws inspiration from the ocean and sea. “Odyssey: Navigating Nameless Seas” and “Imaginarium: Over the Ocean, Under the Sea”
I must admit I had fun visiting this Museum, the art pieces were indeed very beautiful and interactive.
Admission ticket : $ 10.00
Image of Singapore Live and Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds Singapore is located in Sentosa Island, somewhere nearby Imbiah Station together with The Images of Singapore.
Before entering Madame Tussauds, We were first led in to the Images of Singapore. We didn’t allowed to take any photos inside the attraction but it was relatively interactive as you brought into a journey to the history of Singapore. This attraction will probably take around 30 minutes.
The final part of Images of Singapore Live is the newest attraction inside the Museum “The Spirit of Singapore Boat Ride”
And here comes Madame Tussauds.
Admission ticket : $ 39.00
2. EXPLORING NEW PLACES
Haji Lane
Hidden away from the hustle of Singapore, Haji Lane can become one of your shopping destination to the anti-mall crowd. The whole street walls covered with unique murals and creative street art.
If I can suggest, late afternoon will be the best time to visit the road since the heat begins to dissipate.
Butterfly Garden
When was the last time you saw a butterfly?
Not everyone knows that there is a garden inside Changi Airport. Well, I guess it’s because of the signage didn’t point out to the place very well (check the airport map for a direction). The butterfly garden is located in Terminal 3.
I think Changi Airport is home to the world’s first butterfly garden in an airport. The garden divided into two levels, and they said over 1000 butterflies lives inside this garden. There is also a transparent box with a hundreds of cocoons inside it.
If you happen to be in Terminal 3 Changi Airport, do remember to give the garden a visit.
3. FOOD HUNTING
Well, If you love to eat, it would be “almost” impossible not to love Singapore. There are bunch of delicious foods available across Singapore.
Pokémon Café

This is the first Pokémon Café in South East Asia, featuring 12 Pokémon themed dishes and a selection of merchandise. Every order of the Pikachu Smiling Rice Omelette with Magma Sauce or Pikachu’s Sweeeet Pancake will come with a Pokéball mug that you can take home.

Jumbo Seafood
Looking for the best Chilli Crab in Singapore?
Jumbo Seafood is one of my all-time favorite seafood restaurants. It is one of a local and tourist favourite, serving freshly seafood dishes.
The crabs here were very fleshy and fresh! Warning: Unlike others Chilli Crab sauces were mostly sweet-spicy, this one is really really spicy!

Chilli Crab | $ 171.60
Don’t forget to make a reservation a few days prior, or you will ended up waiting for more than 2 hours for a table. Check out this website for further details : www.jumboseafood.com.sg/
To sum up the trip, It was an awesome vacation! We had a fabulous time, and I would change absolutely nothing.
See ya’all on the next post!
